Mera Peak High Altitude Climbing Expedition

Venturing above 6000 m altitude is a challenge for any mountaineer! Mera Peak is an exciting, scenically stunning mountain, that provides a superb challenge for the very fit. Test your endurance on this 17 days climb, experience the Himalayan expedition style with long approaches, gradual acclimatisation and life in a high mountain basecamp, where you prepare for summiting the peak!

Situated in the Mahalangur section of the Himalaya, Mera Peak contains three main summits: Mera North (6476m), Mera Central (6461m), and Mera South (6065m). The snow-capped Mera Peak North is the ultimate showdown of this wonderful expedition.

The climbing route then passes through the south of Lukla to the traditional village of Hinku. There on, you will approach Sherpa cultural villages, ancient Buddhist Monasteries, and rugged terrains. The trek through Khumbu region’s scenic paradise leads to dense rhododendron, pine, oak, and juniper tree forests and other unspoiled Nepali mountain villages where you will get to interact with friendly locals.

As you get closer to the high mountains, you will traverse spectacular glaciers guarded by seracs and sprinkled with crevasses. The climb above Khumbu valley will delight your eyes with stunning views of the Everest region and its surrounding peaks.
